36 Days of Type
I decided that 2020 was the perfect year to join 36 days of type. It was a welcome distraction from a global pandemic, and a great chance to exercise my personal style. I gave myself minimal constraints, a color palette some texture brushes and the goal to show dimension. I connected with amazing designers, received love and encouragement, lost a little sleep, but I have no regrets.

The first day of the challenge I decided it was important to play with colors and establish a color palette to stick to. I have an arsenal of custom illustrator brushes that hep me with my personal style.
Sketch, commit and execute.
iPad iPad iPad. I always started with a sketch and of couple times I ended with it (can you tell?). With a full time job and enrollment in an afterwork certificate program, time management was important. There are only so many hours in the day, and as much ai tested it, sleep is essential to function.
